Question: Why address is being rejected as an "Subscriber was deleted after bounce" during list import?

If the system receives several consecutive bounces from the same address over a period of several weeks, the address is interpreted as an non-working address. If you attempt to import such an address via the Imports tab, the address will be rejected.

However, if you know that the address is functional, you can activate and import it using the "Add subscriber" function on the Subscribers page. After this, you can manually specify (from the 'List Memberships' tab) which lists the subscriber should be added to.

If adding the subscriber does not work with the "Add subscriber" function, and the address is found among your account's unsubscribers, you can activate it by allowing future emails to the address.
