Incident: Email sending delayed for some LianaMailer customers
Update 4 November 2026 at 15:35 EET
All queued messages from the affected server have now been moved to other sending servers and delivered. Sends from affected accounts are now going out through other servers, but new sends may still be slightly delayed, as part of the process is currently handled manually. Please check the delivery status of your recent sends.
Status: Ongoing. Last updated 4 November 2026 at 14:40 EET. Next update by 16:00 EET.
What’s happening
Since about 13:00 EET today, one of our mail sending servers has not been accepting mail because of a technical fault that prevents it from starting. It’s our largest Finnish sending server, so many customers in Finland and Europe are affected. We’re working with our infrastructure provider to restore it as quickly as possible.
This is a technical fault, not a security incident. Your contact data, campaigns and account information are not affected.
Who is affected
What you may notice
- Campaigns and other emails sent from affected accounts are not being delivered at the moment.
- Preview and test emails don’t arrive.
- Sends may appear to be still in progress.
Will my emails be sent?
Messages waiting on the server should go out once it’s back online, but we can’t confirm this until the server has been restored and checked. Please note that queued messages may be delivered later than planned.
What you can do
- Please don’t resend campaigns that appear to be in progress, as recipients could receive them twice once the server is restored.
- If a queued send is time-sensitive and would no longer be relevant if delivered late, [cancel it in LianaMailer / contact support].
- Avoid scheduling time-critical sends until the incident is resolved.
- Check the delivery status of your recent sends once we announce the fix.
- If you need help, contact support through the usual channels and include your account ID.
What we’re doing
- Working with our infrastructure provider to restore the server.
- Preparing a temporary solution to move affected customers to other sending servers. This doesn't need anything from your end.
Estimated time of fix
We don’t have an estimate yet. We’ll update this page by 16 PM (EET).
