Language versions of a press release in LianaPress

  • Updated

Publishing and scheduling one or more language versions of a press release is easy using LianaPress' Language versions feature. If you would like to enable this feature for your account, please contact our team.

Adding a language version

Create the first language version of the press release as usual up to the "Send press release" phase of the press release creation. So create the content, select the recipients, and set a time for scheduled delivery if needed.

Before sending or scheduling the press release, click the Add language version button. This will take you to step 1 of the press release creation process (1. Create press release) to build the content for the second language version. The language of the version defaults to Swedish, but you can change it to your desired language from the drop-down menu.

The topic categories for the language version are determined based on the first language version. You can change the topic categories if you wish. Set the title and content for the language version as usual.

Add the title and content for the language version.

If you have previously sent a press release in the selected language, LianaPress will automatically retrieve the text added last time into the More information about the publisher field.

Proceed to step 2 of the creation process (2. Select recipients) and choose the recipients for the language version you created.

In step 3 of the creation process (Send press release), the schedule set for the first language version is automatically applied to the new language version.

You can now add a third language version or send a preview of all language versions at the same time. Once you have sent the preview, you can send or schedule all language versions at once by clicking the Send press release or Schedule press release button.
