How to set up brand-aware Ailu with Quick setup

Brand-aware Ailu learns your organization’s brand, products and market from your website or brand guide, so every prompt returns content that fits your brand. Quick setup fills in the details for you in a few minutes, and you review everything before it is saved. Once saved, your whole team uses the same details when creating content with Ailu, Liana’s AI assistant.

Ailu uses these details to keep its output on brand:

• Company tone-of-voice
• Brand colors & terminology
• Products and services
• Company terminology
• Competitor landscape
• Online presence

Before you start

Only admins can run the setup and edit Ailu settings.

You need one of two sources for Ailu to read:

• Your website address, for example www.yourcompany.com. Ailu finds your products, services, audience and what makes you stand out.
• A brand guide file, in one of the supported formats listed below. Ailu picks up your brand identity from it.

Supported brand guide files

The maximum size is 10 MB per document and 20 MB per image. Each user can upload up to 100 MB per day in total.

Set up Ailu with Quick setup

The steps are the same whether Ailu reads your website or your brand guide. Only the source differs.

1. Start the setup by selecting Ailu settings in the left-hand menu to open the Ailu page.

2. Select Start quick setup. On the Overview tab of the Ailu page, select Start quick setup under “Your brand-aware AI in minutes”. The cards under “What Ailu knows about your organization” show how much is filled in for each area, for example “7 / 8 fields filled”

3. Choose your source. In the Quick setup window, pick one of the two options:

   • Brand guide: select Browse files, choose your file, then select Scan brand guide. The file is saved in the Brand tab for later reference. You can scan the saved file again, or remove it to upload a new one.
   • Website: enter your organization’s address in the field next to https://, then select Scan website.

4. Wait while Ailu scans. The window shows “Scanning your website…” (or your brand guide) while Ailu collects the information. For a website, Ailu checks all pages and subdomains, in all languages. If Ailu already holds details for your organization, it shows them so you can choose to keep or delete the existing data.

5. Select the details Ailu should keep. Ailu shows what it found in four steps: Products and Services, Brand, Market and Competitors and Marketing. In each step, every item is not selected by default. Check the box of any item you want, or select All to select everything. Items you leave unselected are discarded. Select Continue to move to the next step, or Previous to go back. Select Cancel to leave without saving. On the last step, select Add all selected to store your choices.

6. Finish. After you select Save, a “You are ready to go” message confirms that Ailu now remembers your organization’s essential details. Select Close.

Review and edit your details

After the setup, check what Ailu saved. Each area has its own tab on the Ailu page: Products and Services, Brand, Market and Competitors, Marketing and Legal.

In each tab you can:

• Edit an item with the pencil icon.
• Remove an item with the X icon.
• Add an item manually, for example with Add product or service.
• Use Quick fill to let Ailu search your website for the tab’s information and fill it in. You review and approve the result.
• Clear fields to empty the tab and start again.

The Legal tab is not part of the four setup steps. Fill it in manually or with Quick fill.
