Light blue vertical bar in the editor (Non-breaking space)

You may sometimes notice a light blue vertical bar inside the LianaMailer editor. This bar indicates a non-breaking space (HTML element  ).

Why does this symbol appear?

A non-breaking space usually appears for two reasons:

1. Text has been copied into LianaMailer from an external program (such as Word or Notepad).

2. Two spaces were accidentally typed in a row.

Why should you remove it from text?

When a non-breaking space is placed between words, email clients treat those words as a single long word. This can prevent proper line breaks and break the layout of your newsletter, especially on mobile devices.

What should you do?

• Inside text: Delete the light blue bar using the Backspace key and replace it with a regular space.

• In element structures: If the light blue bar appears inside an empty element or as part of the newsletter's layout structure (instead of between words), do not remove it. It is used to maintain the structure and spacing of that element.
