Security settings

  • Updated

In Security settings, you manage your organization's information related to data protection and compliance: the contact details of the data protection officer, the action plan for personal data security breaches, as well as confirmation of NIS 2 and DORA compliance. Additionally, you can see which method of two-factor authentication is in use within your organization.

Where can you find the security settings?

  1. Log in to LianaAccount.
  2. Select Organization settings from the left menu.
  3. Select the Security Settings tab.

The tab is visible to all members of the organization, but editing rights are granted only to administrators.

Two-Factor Authentication

Two-factor authentication means that logging in requires a second verification in addition to the password. It protects the account even if the password has fallen into the wrong hands. MFA settings are visible only to admins.

In Security settings, the organization's administrators can set the default MFA login for all users in LianaAccount. This is done from the organization's settings. If the default is enabled, users will be asked to confirm it during their first login after MFA activation.

More information about two-factor authentication is available here

Data Protection Officer Contact Information

Data protection regulations require a clear point of contact for data protection matters. Fill in the following details of your organization's data protection officer:

  • Name
  • Phone number
  • Email

If your organization does not have a designated data protection officer, enter the person responsible for data protection matters here.

Action Plan for Personal Data Security Breaches

The action plan specifies who should be contacted and in what order if a personal data security breach is detected. Having the plan documented speeds up the contact process.

Adding a Step

  1. Select Add step.
  2. Choose the Contact method: Email, Phone number, or Other.
  3. Fill in the contact information. If you selected Other, also provide the name of the contact method.
  4. In the Details field, describe what is done at this step and when.
  5. Save the step.
  6. Finally, save all changes on the page by clicking the Save changes button.

Reordering and Editing Steps

The steps are numbered and performed in order. You can rearrange the steps by dragging them using the handle on the left edge.

You can edit or delete a step from the menu on the right edge of the step.

Changes are saved only when you save the page.
