Subprocessor List Update in March 2026 - Frequently Asked Questions

  • Updated

At Liana, we’re committed to transparency regarding how we handle our customers’  personal data. We’ve recently updated our Subprocessor list to include partners that help us improve our products. We have informed all users with Admin rights via email about the update on Monday March 16, 2026.

Below you can find the most frequently asked questions related to our Subprocessors list update in March 2026. If your question remains unanswered, please reach out to us at support@lianatech.com.

1. Could you please elaborate on which changes you made to the Subprocessors list?

We have added the following subprocessors on the list, they are used for processing customer data for our business processes or are used for providing background services.

  • Garba: Used to save, analyze and process Liana’s customer meeting transcripts to generate internal insights with prior consent from customers.
  • Startdeliver: Used as a CSM platform to manage Liana’s customer interactions and analyze customer insights.
  • Cyclr: Integration platform towards Liana’s products

We have also removed the following from the Subprocessors list:

  • Telia Cygate

2. Why am I receiving this update?

You are receiving this email because you are an admin user on a LianaAccount. We are required to keep you informed about changes made to our Subprocessors list for transparency reasons.

3. Is any action required from me?

No action is required from you, and you may continue to use Liana products as usual.

4. I am unsubscribed from receiving marketing emails. Why did I receive this update?

Since this concerns an email informing you of an update to our Subprocessors list and addresses your legal rights – you still received this email despite being unsubscribed from email marketing communications from us. Therefore, in the future, you will continue to receive these updates for transparency reasons.

5. How do I know that my data is secure with the new subprocessors?

We take the security and privacy of your data seriously. Before onboarding any Subprocessor, Liana conducts a rigorous due diligence process to ensure their security posture and data protection practices meet our high standards and comply with applicable data protection laws (such as GDPR, ISO27001, and others). We maintain written agreements with each Subprocessor that enforce data protection obligations at least as protective as those we provide to you.
