You can now add hits to press releases yourself.
We have received requests to add a feature that allows our users to add hits to press releases on their own. While the automatic press release tracking collects many hits, some may occasionally be missing. To address this, we have introduced a new feature that allows you to directly add missing hits to a release.
How to add a hit to a press release:
A hit can be added either by using the article's URL or through an existing hit found in the monitor.
Currently, adding hits does not support articles that are over 6 months old or from social media sources.
Below are the instructions on how to use both methods.
Adding a Hit Using the Article URL
1 |
Navigate to the press release where you want to add the hit |
2 |
Open the hits view |
3 |
Click the "+" button above the hits |
4 |
Enter the article URL into the text field |
5 |
Click the "Add" button |
Adding an Existing Hit from Monitor
1 |
Find the hit in the hits view of the monitor |
2 |
Click the "More actions" button ("...") on the hit card, and select the "Add hit to press release" action |
3 |
This will open a modal where you can select the Publisher (if more than one publisher is available) and the Press Release to which you want to add the hit |
4 |
From the "Hit added" notification that appears in the lower right corner, you can go directly to the hits view of the respective press release |
