When copying text from Word, a website, or another source into LianaMailer, we recommend pasting the text without its original formatting.
This ensures that the text uses the default fonts and other styles of your newsletter template. It also prevents incompatible formatting from being transferred to your newsletter.
There are several ways to remove text formatting. Choose the option below that best suits your situation.
Option 1: Paste the text directly without formatting
This is the recommended option when you are adding text to your newsletter.
Copy the text and paste it into LianaMailer without formatting using the following keyboard shortcuts:
- PC: Ctrl + Shift + V
- Mac: Option + Command + Shift + V
After pasting the text, apply any necessary formatting using the LianaMailer text editor.
Option 2: Remove formatting in another application before pasting
You can also remove the formatting before adding the text to LianaMailer.
First, paste the copied text into Notepad or another plain-text application. Then copy the text again and paste it into LianaMailer.
After pasting the text, apply any necessary formatting using the LianaMailer text editor.
Option 3: Remove formatting from text already added to the newsletter
If you have already pasted formatted text into your newsletter, you do not need to paste it again.
Select the text you want to remove the formatting from and click the Remove formatting button in the LianaMailer text editor.
You can then format the text again using the LianaMailer text editor.
In LianaMailer's text editor, you can also find a "Remove format" button (top row second from the right), which allows you to remove the formatting of the text already added to the newsletter.
